The MIUI customization options provided by Xiaomi are practically limitless. The icons (Xiaomi Status icons)in the top bar, status bar, and notification bar can now be changed as well, not just the lock screen.
MIUI allows us to alter the look of the icons in the status bar among its many other design options. In the purest Android style, we can go with a dark theme, but in the MIUI style, we can jump right to bright colors.
A quick and easy method to customize our Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO without resorting to third-party software If you’re curious about how we break it down for you below.
Customize the Xiaomi Status icons in the top status bar
The Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO status bar icons can have their appearance changed or customized in a matter of seconds. We need only take the following measures to accomplish this:
- Go to Settings > Notifications and Control Center > Notification bar
- Once inside we can choose two different ways to display the icons:
- MIUI: color icons
- Android: black and white icons
We can customize our Xiaomi in a variety of ways by switching between MIUI and Android in the notification bar settings. For me, it all starts with the background image or theme. I use the Android icons if I want something simple, but the MIUI icons if I want something bright and colorful.
