Redmi Note 10 Google Camera 9.1 (Pro & Pro Max)

The Redmi Note 10 series which includes the Redmi Note 10, Note 10 Pro, and Note 10 Pro Max, was launched in 2021. The company bumps up the camera sensor on all three phones of the  Redmi Note 10 series. The vanilla  Redmi Note features a 48MP snapper, while the  Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max (Indian variant) come with 64MP and 108MP sensors, respectively.

The Redmi Note 10 is officially announced on March 04, 2021. The smartphone is fueled by a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + Fast charging 33W, 50% in 25 min, 100% in 74 min (advertised). The phone runs on the Android 11 + MIUI 12 operating system.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SDM678 Snapdragon 678 Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 612. The rear camera consists of 48 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth) sensor lenses that helps to click pictures with professional experience. The front camera has a 13 MP (wide) sensor.

Redmi Note 10 Pro China is officially announced on May 26, 2021. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6891Z Dimensity 1100 5G Octa-core processor while the GPU is Mali-G77 MC9. The smartphone comes in 6.6 inches size and the display is IPS LCD that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

The screen of the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Additional features support 120Hz, HDR10, and 450 nits (typ). The rear camera features a triple-camera: 64 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) sensor lenses. The front camera has a 16 MP (wide) sensor. The device is equipped with sensors such as Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. The smartphone is fueled by a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery with Fast charging 67W, 100% in 42 min (advertised) + USB Power Delivery 3.0.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is officially announced on March 04, 2021. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM7150 Snapdragon 732G Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 618. The smartphone comes in 6.67 inches size and the display is Super AMOLED that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

The screen of the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Additional features support 120Hz, HDR10, 450 nits (typ), and 1200 nits (peak). The rear camera consists of a 108 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 5 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth) sensor lenses that helps to click pictures with professional experience.

The front camera has a 16 MP (wide) sensor. The device is equipped with sensors such as Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. The smartphone is fueled by a Non-removable Li-Po 5020 mAh battery and Fast charging 33W.

The GCam 9.1 and 8.4 mod doesn’t require any changes, but, if you’re using the GCam 7.3 on your  Redmi Note 10 series phone, then you can apply the below-listed settings for better results.

Note: Before Installing the new Gcam Mod ported app, make sure to delete the older version (if you’ve installed). This is not a stable version of Google Camera, so it may have some bugs. Added Best GCam for  Redmi Note 10 with updated config file.

Recommended Settings

For GCam 7.3

  1. At first, download this config file on your smartphone.
  2. Now create a new folder with GCam name.
  3. Open GCam folder and create one more folder with configs7 name.
  4. Now paste the config file inside the configs7 folder.
  5. Once done, Open the Google Camera app and double tap on the black blank area placed next to the shutter button.
  6. Tap on the settings shown (with rnote10-config.xml), available in the popup & press the restore button.
  7. Go back to the app drawer and then open the app again.

As I said earlier, there’s no need to do much changes in the latest GCam 8.1 mod port, although you can do some changes according to your needs from the settings section.

How to Install Google Camera (GCam) on Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max

  1. At first, download the GCam Mod from the above link.
  2. Once downloaded, install the Google Camera APK on your  Redmi Note 10,  Note 10 Pro, and  Note 10 Pro Max.
  3. Then, open the app & grant the needed permissions like Camera, Microphone, Storage, and Location.
  4. That’s it.

Now you can start using GCam on your  Redmi Note 10 Pro Max with features like Night Sight and Astrophotography Mode.
