Indian users Get Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Android 14 update

Motorola started seeding the Android 14 update for the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra smartphone in Latin America and Europe. The update is now ready for Indian customers, This is 2nd major OS update for the Edge 30 Ultra.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has been officially released on Sept. 8, 2022. The device is built with a Glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), glass back (Gorilla Glass 5), and aluminum frame. The smartphone runs on the Android 12 operating system and it is powered by Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Octa-core processor.

The device features a triple-camera that consists of 200 MP (wide) + 12 MP (telephoto) + 50 MP (ultrawide) while on the front there is a single camera setup: 60 MP (wide).

The size of the screen is 6.67 inches and the screen type is an OLED capacitive touchscreen that will give you an output of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The sensors include under display, optical fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra comes with features such as Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1, USB On-The-Go, DisplayPort 1.4, and GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO. It comes in two colors: Interstellar Black, Starlight White.

The smartphone is packed with 8 GB and 12 GB RAM with 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB internal storage. It comes with a powerful Non-removable Li-Po 4610 mAh battery + Fast charging 125W + Fast wireless charging 50W + Reverse wireless charging 10W.

The update comes with firmware version- U1SQS34.52-21-1-7 and weighs 1.49GB. At launch, Motorola promised that the phone would receive three major OS updates, so Android 15 is also on the cards in the future.

  4. Integration of Health Connect, providing a centralized platform for storing health data, with customizable controls over data sharing with fitness apps.
  5. Flash notifications for incoming alerts, with customizable settings for camera light, screen light, or both, while respecting Do Not Disturb modes.

Other than these features, the update will also pack some other surprises for the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.
