Samsung Galaxy M14 gets Android 14 update

Samsung has begun to distribute the Android 14-centric One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy M14. The upgrade for the mid-tier Galaxy M33 5G and Galaxy M53 has already been released by the South Korean tech company. The update includes a slew of new features and changes; keep reading for more information.

The Galaxy M14 was released in March 2023, with the One UI 5.0 operating system based on Android 13. The first major software upgrade is now due. Samsung has released the M146BXXU2BWK8 firmware update for the Galaxy M14.

For the time being, the OTA update is being seeded in a few countries, including Turkey and the UAE, with a wider rollout expected soon.The update is rolling out with a slew of new features and changes, including the monthly security patch for November 2023.

Now, on to the features and changes of the One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy M14. The list of new features includes redesigned Quick Settings, more lock screen customization controls, a new One UI Sans font, new emojis, a new media player, separate battery settings, and many more.

Once the update is available, you will receive an OTA notification on your device, or you can manually check for new updates by going to Settings > About device > Software update > Download and install.

Before installing the new update on your device, make a backup of any important data. Also, keep your phone charged to at least 50% in case of a failure.
