OnePlus 11R gets stable OxygenOS 14 on Android 14

OnePlus has began the Android 14 adventure by releasing an update for the OnePlus 11. Later, the OnePlus 10T received the update as well. The OnePlus 11R is the third device to receive stable Android 14. Yes, the OnePlus 11R is now receiving an OxygenOS 14 update based on Android 14.

Through the beta program, some OnePlus 11R owners have already had the opportunity to test Android 14 and OxygenOS 14. However, the updated update is now available to everyone. However, depending on area availability, some customers may have to wait longer.

Although OnePlus has not officially acknowledged the upgrade, it appears that customers can now manually update to stable Android 14. Third-party programs such as Oxygen Updater already have the official stable firmware.

The OnePlus 11R Android 14 upgrade is now available with the build number CPH2487_14.0.0.200(EX01). The device was also upgraded to the November 2023 Android security patch as part of the update.

If you are updating from a stable OxygenOS 13 build, you may expect Aquamorphic Design 2.0, Auto Pixelete 2.0 to pixelete sensitive material, fluid cloud (similar to Dynamic Island), new AOD themes, new ringtones, and other features in OxygenOS 14.

The OxygenOS 14 is built on the Trinity Engine, which is touted to boost device performance while also increasing battery life or consuming less power. So, whether it’s a gimmick or not, you’ll find out after the update.

If you own a OnePlus 11R, you will soon receive the OTA update. You can also manually upgrade your phone by downloading the incremental data via the Oxygen Updater app. However, before installing the update, make a backup of your data. Also, make sure your device is at least 50% charged.
