In Europe, Samsung has already released US Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4 One. In the United States, the company has updated the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 carrier-locked models with new and improved multitasking capabilities.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 on MetroPCS’s and T-Mobile’s networks in the United States is receiving the One UI 5.1.1 software update with firmware version F936USQU3DWH5, while the Galaxy Z Fold 4 on T-Mobile’s network is receiving the update with firmware version F721USQU3DWH5. In the coming days, the new update may be made available by additional carriers.
How to install US Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4 One UI 5.1.1 Update
You can check for the new update if you have a US Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 and live in the US. To do that, head to Settings >> Software update and tap Download and Install on your phone.
US Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4 One UI 5.1.1 Update Features:
New features and enhancements have been added to the Multitasking, Taskbar, Flex mode, Quick Share, Samsung Health, Camera, and Gallery sections of Galaxy smartphones and tablets running the One UI 5.1.1 firmware, which is based on Android 13.
There are other modifications included with it, such as Drag. You can drop it using both hands, and you can keep using your phone even as it charges. Features such as improved memory management in Device care, mode switching from the lock screen, and a user-configurable interface for Samsung Internet are all included.
