Samsung Galaxy S22 One UI 6.1 update halted due to Bug Issue

Samsung started rolling out the Galaxy S22 One UI 6.1 update a few hours ago in Korea along with Galaxy S21, Fold3, fold4, flip3 and flip4. The update is seeded for select users in that region, with other countries like Europe, India, America, and others expected to start getting it soon. Unfortunately, the rollout isn’t moving as planned and has been rolled back due to a bug.

According to Tarun Vats, the update was suspended due to screen lock issues. We don’t know what the problem is all about, but we believe it is a major issue with Samsung rolling back the build. We understand they halted the release on Friday and reverted it to the server. If you already received a notification to install the new update but didn’t, you will not see it again until the rollout starts for the second time.

We don’t know when Samsung will start the Galaxy S22 One UI 6.1 rollout again. In addition, the screen lock problem will delay the release in other regions.
