Xiaomi phones continue to upgrade eligible phones to Android 14 with HyperOS. Global Xiaomi 11 Android 14 HyperOS is available for download and enjoy. New features are coming with HyperOS, like the new control center.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 is officially released on January 1, 2021. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888, along with LPPDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone is equipped with an AMOLED panel and provides 1B colors, 120Hz, HDR10+, and 1500 nits (peak).
The front camera of the Xiaomi Mi 11 features 20 MP (wide), while on the rear side there is a triple camera consisting of 108 MP (wide), 13 MP (ultrawide), and 5 MP (macro).
The sensors include fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Moreover, it is packed with 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The device is fueled with a 4600 mAh battery capacity and supports 55W at 100% in 45 minutes (advertised).
Additionally, it features fast wireless charging at 50W, reverse wireless charging at 10W, power delivery at 3.0, and Quick Charge 4+.
It has been a few days since the Xiaomi 11 Android 14 HyperOS update arrived in Europe. The update is now rolling out for global users with a version number of OS1.0.2.0.UKBMIXM and weighs 5.0 GB. As expected, it comes with all the HyperOS features, a stable HyperOS based on Android 14, and a March 2024 security patch level.
In addition, there is a new animation language to make interactions with the device “wholesome and intuitive.” You will get a new system font, a redesigned weather app, new home screen icons, and more. Meanwhile, backup your data before installing the update, as there have been cases of bugs after the upgrade.
As usual, it will take a few days before the update becomes available for everyone, but with an authorized Mi Beta account, you can install the recovery ROM. While waiting for the OTA, ensure your bootloader is locked.
