Samsung updates Galaxy A72 to Android 14.

Samsung has begun rolling out the much-anticipated Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update to the Galaxy A72. This update arrives barely two days after the launch of the low-cost Galaxy A52 (LTE). The update includes a slew of new features and tweaks. Continue reading to learn more about the Galaxy A72 Android 14 upgrade.

At the time of writing, the update is live in Russia and will be available in additional countries shortly. The A725FXXU6EWL4 software version number is assigned to the new software upgrade.

The Galaxy A72 was released with the Android 11 operating system and is now ready for its next major software update, the Android 14 update based on Samsung’s One UI 6.0 custom skin.

In terms of modifications and functionality, Samsung releases the new software upgrade along with the December security patch and the One UI 6.0 features. A new Quick panel UI, the ability to place the clock widget anywhere on the lock screen, the ability to set even bigger fonts, updated Samsung apps, a new Media player UI for notification and lock screen, new widgets, redesigned Emojis, and many other enhancements are included.

If you possess a Galaxy A72 and live in Russia, you may now update to Android 14 via the Software upgrade settings. For the rest of the world, the update is now under progress and will be available to everyone very shortly. Once the update is available for you, you will receive an over-the-air update notification on your smartphone.

You may always check for updates manually by going to Settings > About device > Software update > Download and install.

Before installing the new update on your device, make a backup of any vital data. Also, keep your phone charged to at least 50% in case of a failure.
