Samsung is releasing the first update for the Galaxy S24 FE internationally. Recently, the brand’s affordable flagship phone received its first update, which was only available in Europe and Africa. This upgrade has since been handed out in India and, most recently, in the United States. So, this is what we know so far.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE update is now available on Verizon’s network in the United States. However, the software upgrade is expected to arrive on more carriers and unlocked models soon. The upgrade includes the October 2024 security patch and firmware version S721USQS2AXI5, as it did previously. This is a small update, thus no major new features or modifications are included with this software version.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE measures 162.00 x 77.30 x 8.00mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 213.00 grams. It was launched in Blue, Graphite, Grey, Mint, and Yellow colours. It features an IP68 rating for dust and water protection.
Connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.30, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
