Samsung Galaxy A53 One UI 6.1 update rollout soon

Samsung Galaxy A53 is set to receive the update this month. The tech Korean company will release the update to select users when it becomes available to limit any issues that might arise with the upgrade.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is officially released on March 24, 2022. The smartphone comes with a quad-camera setup: 64 MP (wide) + 12 MP (ultrawide) + 5 MP (macro) + 5 MP (depth) and 32 MP (wide) on the front for clicking selfies. The phone has a huge battery of 4500 mAh, Li-Polymer + Fast charging 25W.

The device supports IP67 dust/water resistance (up to 1m for 30 mins). It is packed with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM with 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage options. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G runs on Android 12 + One UI 4 operating system.

The device is powered by Exynos 1200 processor and Mali-G68 GPU. The display size of the smartphone is 6.5 inches, which provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The sensors include Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, compass, Virtual proximity sensing.

Samsung might start rolling out One UI 6.1 update for Samsung Galaxy A53 next week. It seems the delay will not affect the rollout for other phones, but we recommend backing up your data before installing any One UI 6.1 build.

According to reports, the update will start rolling out on May 14 in Canada. We might see the update in other regions before the supposed data, as Samsung usually starts its rollout in their home country.
