Before rooting your device you might want to check the prerequisite for this task.

Your device should have at least 40-50% juice left to perform the rooting process.

Step 5: Now, Power off your Tablet.

Step 6: After switching-off the Tablet, you need to boot into Download Mode. To boot into download mode Press and hold Volume DownHome and Power button at same time for 5-8 seconds until download mode is active.

Step 7: Once you have entered the download mode, you will see the warning screen. You need to press the “Volume down” button to continue.

Step 8: Now, Open Odin3.exe (found in the extracted files, that you have downloaded in the Step#2) on your computer. Then connect your Samsung Tablet to the computer.

Step 9: Once you have connected the Tablet to the computer, Odin will automatically recognize the device and displays Added message at the Log Area.

Step 10: Once your device detected by Odin, Click on the AP/PDA button and select the image.tar file (you have downloaded this file in step#2).

Step 11: Now, click on the Start button in Odin to begin the Flashing.

Step 12: Flashing usually takes 30-50 seconds to complete the rooting process on your Samsung Galaxy Tab Advanced 2 (SM-T583). Once Rooting process got completed, you will be able to see a Green Box with Pass written on it in Odin. During this process Tablet will re-boot automatically.

Step 13: Once you see, the Pass message in Odin, you can disconnect your Device from the computer.

Step 14: Now, to make sure you have successfully rooted your Samsung Galaxy Tab Advanced 2 (SM-T583), open Applications Menu on your Tablet. If SuperSU App exists on your Tablet, then it means you have successfully rooted your Tablet.
