OnePlus Pad gets OxygenOS 14.0.0.500 update fixing the screen flickering issue

The OnePlus Pad has been officially announced on Feb. 7, 2023. The tablet is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 Octa-core processor. The device comes with a 11.61 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and 2000 x 2800 pixels resolution. The rear camera consists of a 13 MP lenses while on the front, there is a single 8 MP camera.

The sensors include accelerometer, gyro, compass, color spectrum while it is fueled by a non-removable Li-Po 9510 mAh battery + 67W wired. The device runs on Android, OxygenOS 13.1 operating system and available in a single color: Halo Green.

It features USB Type-C 2.0, OTG, accessory connector and Bluetooth 5.3. The dimension of the device is 258 x 189.4 x 6.5 mm and it weighs 552 grams. OnePlus Pad is packed with 8 GB RAM while internal storage consists of 128 GB.

The OnePlus Pad has received an update from OnePlus that addresses several bugs and improves the battery life of the tablet. Globally, including in India and Europe, the upgrade is being sent out with the label OPD2203_14.0.0.500(EX01). Its stated goals include a longer battery life, a smoother transition between landscape and portrait modes, and an end to issues with adding calendar events and navigating between recently used applications.

Along with adding the February 2024 Android Security Patch to strengthen the system’s defenses, the update resolves a display problem that occurred when the tablet was linked to a phone using Multi-Screen Connect. The full changelog is available down below.
