Requirements:
Before going to the installation process, ensure you have the following:
- Xiaomi Device: make sure the device is compatible with HyperOS; otherwise, use Xiaomi.eu ROM
- Stable Internet Connection: A good internet connection is necessary for downloading the necessary firmware files.
- Enough Battery: Make sure your device has sufficient battery to complete the installation process.
Steps to Install HyperOS on Xiaomi phone
Step 1: Check Device Compatibility
go to Xiaomi’s official site and check if your device officially supports HyperOS, if not then search for some alternative rom like Xiaomi.eu
Step 2: Backup Your Data
Before installation, must backup all of your important data and move it to pc
Step 3: Enable Developer Options
go, developers, option and enable USB debugging & OEM unlock
Step 4: unlock bootloader
follow the official Xiaomi unlock process and unlock the bootloader of your device
Step 5: Download HyperOS Firmware
download the latest version of HyperOS for your device, reference 1, reference 2 & extract the downloaded zip
Step 6: Connect Your Device to Your Computer
plug your device into your computer using the USB cable in fastboot mod, You can access fastboot mode by holding the volume down and the power button at the same time
Step 7: Install HyperOS
go to the firmware folder and Run flash_all.bat
Step 8: Wait for the Installation to Complete
Wait until the flashing process is complete; once done, unplug the device and switch it ON. & set up a new HyperOS
How to Upgrade to HyperOS Via Local Update:
For compatible devices, Xiaomi is expected to provide official guidelines and over-the-air (OTA) upgrades. For that, go to settings/system update and join the beta program, or check if a stable HyperOS update is available.
