How to Enable Android USB Debugging

Android USB Debugging is a feature of Android smartphones that enables programmers to connect to the device over a USB cable and access its internal workings for the purposes of testing and debugging.

In order to send and receive data from and to a computer, USB debugging must be enabled on the device. USB debugging allows programmers to run their code on a real device or an emulator, which is especially helpful for those working on Android apps.

You must enable Developer Options before you can use Android USB Debugging. You can either follow the detailed instructions below or navigate to Settings > About Phone > Tap Build Number > Keep Tapping until you see a message confirming that Developer Options have been activated.

  1. First of all Enable the Developer Option From Settings, To Enable the Developer Option, Go to your Settings -> About -> Software Information -> More -> Now Tap on the Build Number 7-8 Times until you see a toast message “Developer option enabled

2. Go back to settings ->  to enable the USB Debugging Go to Settings -> Developer Option and USB Debugging and OEM unlock.

Xiaomi:

  • device Info/type MIUI version 7-8 times/ additional settings/ USB debugging ON/ Oem Unlock ON/ bound Mi account
