Honor Introduces MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon Edition

Following the global release of its MagicBook Art 14 Intel variants, Honor has launched the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon Edition at IFA 2024 in Berlin. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite platform, this new model emphasizes AI-enhanced capabilities and power efficiency, catering to both professionals and everyday users.

Specifications

The Honor MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon Edition is equipped with a 14.6-inch OLED display boasting a sharp 3.1K resolution (3120 x 2080 pixels) and an impressive 97% screen-to-body ratio. With ultra-thin bezels, the laptop is highly compact, measuring only 10mm thick and weighing just 1 kilogram. The chassis, made from magnesium and aluminum alloy, provides a combination of durability and a lightweight feel.

Under the hood, the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon Edition features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite chipset with 12 cores and a maximum frequency of 4.0GHz. It is available in two configurations: 16GB or 32GB of RAM, both paired with 1TB of storage, making it a powerful choice for multitasking and handling professional workloads. The AI-enhanced NPU in the Snapdragon X Elite provides up to 45 TOPS of AI computing power, enabling the laptop to efficiently manage demanding tasks.

Special Features

A standout feature of the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon Edition is the OS Turbo 3.0 system, which optimizes power consumption, allowing for up to 15.22 hours of 1080P video playback on a single charge. This makes the laptop ideal for extended work sessions, travel, or entertainment use.

The laptop also includes a detachable magnetic webcam, a unique feature aimed at addressing privacy concerns. This webcam can be easily stored on the side of the laptop when not in use, maintaining the laptop’s slim bezel design while offering flexibility for video calls or content creation.

Honor’s MagicOS system is integrated into the laptop, enabling Smart Interconnect for seamless collaboration between Honor devices. With the MagicRing connection, users can control multiple Honor devices—including smartphones, tablets, and laptops—simultaneously with the same set of peripherals, simplifying the workflow.

Moreover, the laptop integrates Honor’s AI Eraser feature, originally from the Magic V3 smartphone, allowing users to remove unwanted background elements from images directly on the laptop.

Pricing & Availability

Honor has not yet disclosed the pricing for the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon Edition. However, it is expected to be competitively priced within its segment. The Intel-powered version is already available in select European markets, so the Snapdragon variant is anticipated to follow soon.
