The Chinese company is rolling out the much-anticipated upgrade to the Global POCO F4 units a few days after the release started in China. It’s a limited rollout to allow Mi Pilot members to preview the build, but you can install it manually.

POCO F4 Specs
Poco F4 GT was officially released on June 27, 2022. The dimension of the smartphone is 163.2 x 76 x 7.7 mm and it weighs 195 grams. The device is packed with 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB RAM along with 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage options.
Poco F4 is powered by the Qualcomm SM8250-AC Snapdragon 870 5G Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 650. The display of the smartphone comes with a 6.67 inches AMOLED and 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The screen is protected by corning Gorilla Glass 5.
There is a built-in non-removable Li-Po 4500 mAh battery + Fast charging 67W + Power Delivery 3.0 + Quick Charge 3+. It also features Type-C 2.0 USB and USB On-The-Go.
The rear camera consists of a triple camera: 64 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) while on the front, there is a single 20 MP (wide) camera. It comes in colors such as Moonlight Silver, Night Black, and Nebula Green.
The smartphone runs on Android 12 + MIUI 13 POCO operating system. It supports IP53, dust and splash resistant alongside Dual SIM.
POCO F4 HyperOS update
The Global POCO F4 Android 14 HyperOS update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.1.0.ULMMIXM weighs 4.6 GB. It comes with all the expected features, which include a new animation language, system fonts, a redesigned weather app, a revamped control center, new home screen icons, and more.
In addition, the update has bumped the Android security patch level to March 2024 to increase system security and stability. Of course, the package includes a stable HyperOS based on Android 14.
