Apple released watchOS 10 to the public earlier this week. Today, the company released the first progressive upgrade, Apple watchOS 10.0.1, which addresses known issues and includes vital security improvements.
Apple is issuing an incremental update to the watch with the version number 21R360. Because it is a minor patch correction, the download size is only 135MB. You can immediately put it on your watch because it is a free update.

How to Install Apple watchOS 10.0.1 Update
If your Apple Watch is running on the watchOS 10, then you can easily update your Apple Watch to watchOS 10.0.1. Before heading over to the steps, make sure that your iPhone is running on the iOS 17.
- At first, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
- Tap on My Watch.
- Then click on General > Software Update > Download and Install.
- Enter the password for confirmation.
- Tap on Agree to the terms and conditions.
- Once done, tap on install.
Prerequisites:
- Charge your Apple Watch to at least 50% and connect to the magnetic charger.
- Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi for internet connection.
- Make sure that your iPhone is running on iOS 17.
When you press the install button, the latest update for your Apple Watch will be downloaded and installed. When the installation is finished, the watch will immediately reboot to the most recent watchOS 10.
