Apple pushing iOS 17.5.1 Update to fix some issues, Last week, numerous iPhone and iPad users reported that deleted photos were reappearing in their Photo library and marked as recently uploaded to iCloud after updating to iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5.
A user mentioned in a Reddit post comment that his photos from 2010 also reappeared. So, it’s not just recently deleted photos reappearing, but also photos from many years ago are reappearing too.
Apple acknowledged the database corruption issue and released a small update, to fix the significant privacy bug. If you are using iOS 17.5 or iPadOS 17.5, you should go to the latest iOS 17.5.1 or iPadOS 17.5.1 to resolve the problem. 
iOS 17.5.1 is a small but important update for those who recently upgraded to iOS 17.5. Apple also released a similar update for iPad users. Both iOS 17.5.1 and iPadOS 17.5.1 have the build number 21F90. On my iPhone, the size is 837MB (upgrading from iOS 17.4.1 to iOS 17.5.1), though the size may vary depending on the device and current update.
According to the changelog: “This update provides important bug fixes and addresses a rare issue where photos that experience database corruption could reappear in the Photos library even if they were deleted.”
How to get iOS 17.5.1 Update
If you have an iPhone and updated to iOS 17.5 recently, you must upgrade to the latest incremental update to fix the annoying issue. To update your device, go to Settings > General > Software Update.
