Samsung sends Galaxy M34 One UI 6.1 update and to other eligible devices, with the Galaxy M34 being the latest to start receiving the much-anticipated upgrade. As usual, the upgrade is rolling out in batches and will take a few days before it arrives for everyone via Sammobile.
The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G was officially announced on July 3, 2023. The smartphone is powered by the Exynos 1280 Octa-core processor and runs on Android 13. The device comes in variants with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage. It features a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP (wide), 8 MP (ultrawide), and 2 MP lens, while the front sports a 13 MP (wide) camera.
The display of the Galaxy M34 is 6.5 inches, featuring a Super AMOLED Plus panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen resolution is 1080 x 2340 pixels, and it supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). The device is fueled by a non-removable Li-Po 6000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging.

The Galaxy M34 One UI 6.1 update is rolling out with the version number M346BXXU4CXE1. The update weighs about 2.2 GB and brings all the expected features, aside from Galaxy AI, which remains exclusive to flagship phones. However, some new photo and video editing tools are included in this latest update.
Interestingly, Samsung is pushing the Galaxy M34 One UI 6.1 update with the May 2024 security patch to enhance system security and stability. Currently, only users in India are reporting the release, but it is expected that other regions will receive the update soon.
Samsung is rolling out the update in India, with other regions expected to follow shortly. You can check for the update via Settings>>System update>>Download and install. Ensure to back up your data before installing the update, as there have been cases of bugs.
