Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Android 14 Update begins

When Android 14 was introduced in October, there were initial concerns that Motorola customers would have to wait another year to get the latest version. To our astonishment, Motorola has already released stable Android 14 for a few eligible phones. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is among the devices that have received the stable Android 14 upgrade.

Motorola launched the Android 14 campaign with the Moto G53, and later added the Moto Edge+ 2023 and Moto Edge 40 Pro. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is the newest device to receive the Android 14 update.

According to reports, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is receiving the Android 14 update in Brazil and select European markets. This update has the build number U1SQ34.52-21-1. And, as you might think, it weighs in GB, specifically 1.4GB. So, make sure to use WiFi when downloading the update.

Now we get to the exciting part, which are the new features. We’re interested in experiencing Android 14 because it allows us to attempt new things. The Android 14 update for the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra adds a number of new features, including monochromatic themes with more color options, the ability to use your phone as a webcam, a new battery settings page, even larger fonts, greater privacy and security, and more. Working lock screen customization will be implemented later.

If you own a Motorola Edge 30 Ultra in an eligible region, you will receive the OTA update shortly, if not already. You may check for updates manually in Settings. This is a batch rollout, so it may take some time. However, you can receive it early by downloading Motorola’s RSA program for your PC.

Before applying the update, backup any crucial data and charge your phone to at least 50%.
