Two days back, Motorola kicked off the Moto G85 Android 15 update for Moto G34 and Moto G45. Today, the company expands the Android 15 rollout to Moto G85. If you own the Moto G85, you can finally upgrade your smartphone to the Hello UI-based Android 15 OS.

Motorola is pushing the new software upgrade to the mid-tier smartphone with V1UO35H.74-16-4 software version. Moto G85 was launched with the Android 14 operating system and is all set to receive its first major software upgrade. As with every major OS, Android 15’s OTA weighs around 1.42GB in size.

For the time being, the Moto G85 Android 15 update is in a rollout phase and live in India. Reddit user, lameboredghini11 shared a screenshot, revealing key information including firmware version, a small changelog, and software size.

Moto G85 receives the Android 15 update with a flurry of new features, including the new lock screen customization features, updated quick panel, Gen AI emojis, new emoji stickers, improved connections, and more.

If you reside in India and own the Moto G85, you may have already received the OTA notification. If you missed the notification, you can manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings > System updates > Check for system updates.
