iOS 17.3.1 Update Fixes Text Overlap bug

iOS 17.3.1 is a small update that Apple has released for iPhone users. This new update mostly fixes bugs and can be downloaded on all iPhones that can run iOS 17. A little while ago, Apple sent iOS 17.4 Beta 2 to developers and public beta users. In this case, the iOS 17.3.1 update will not be sent to your device if it has already been updated to iOS 17.4.

Some users had trouble with writing overlapping in iOS 17.3, which made the experience worse for them. Users had a lot of trouble with text in iOS 17.3. This is because people use text every day. This fix is for people who are having this problem with their iPhones.

Apple also put out updates for other gadgets that anyone could get. This has watchOS 10.3.1, iPadOS 17.3.1, and macOS Sonoma 14.3.1. The build number for iOS 17.3.1 is 21D61, which is also the build number for iPadOS 17.3.1.

It was already said that this is a small fix update. There are fixes for text overlap and a security update in this build. Apple didn’t say anything else that was better or different. There may be some other fixes or changes, though. iOS 17.3.1 is available to the public. If you are on an iOS 17 public build, like iOS 17.3, you will receive the update over the air.

To check for the update manually, go to Settings > General > Software Update. Before installing the update, make sure to take a backup and charge your iPhone to at least 50%.
