Galaxy A33 5G gets stable Android 14 One UI 6

Samsung has launched Android 14 for several of its Galaxy phones, including older flagships, foldables, and even A series phones, during the last two weeks. The Galaxy A33 is the most recent Galaxy device to receive the stable Android 14 update. Android 14 is the new operating system available for Samsung Galaxy handsets via One UI 6.

In a recent story, we revealed a list of Galaxy phones that will receive Android 14 in December. Many of the smartphones on the list have already received the update, including the Galaxy A33. The Galaxy A33, which runs Android 12, was released in early 2022. As a result, the One UI 6 based on Android 14 is the device’s second significant update.

The Galaxy A33 5G Android 14 firmware has been discovered. Based on the firmware availability, we may guess that the Android 14 upgrade for the Galaxy A33 is currently rolling out in Europe. It will soon be available to users in other regions as well. The build version of the update is A336BXXU7DWK6.

When it comes to new features and modifications, you can expect the same format as with previous Galaxy phone updates. New Quick Panel UI, new Media player UI for Notification panel and lockscreen, additional customizations for home screen and lockscreen, dedicated page for battery options, new typeface, updated apps, and more are among the highlights. A new Android security fix is also on the way.

Because the official changelog isn’t yet available, you may check out our One UI 6 features list to see what’s new in the latest major version.

If you possess a Galaxy A33, you will receive an OTA notification when the update becomes available in your region. Because the update message may not always display right away, you can manually check for new updates by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Before installing the new update on your device, make a backup of any vital data. Also, keep your phone charged to at least 50% in case of a failure.
