Apple has just released the watchOS 10.5 update to the public. The newest incremental upgrade is primarily focused on bug fixes and brings a new pride watch face.
watchOS 10.5 Update
Apple pushes the watchOS 10.5 to the compatible watches with the 21T576 build number. The update weighs approximately 450MB in size. If your Apple Watch is running on watchOS 10, then you can freely upgrade to the gradual watchOS 10.5 update. According to the official release notes, the update bags new features, improvements, and bug fixes. With the addition of a new Pride Radiance watch face to honor the LGBTQ+ community and culture.
How to download watchOS 10.5 update
If your iPhone or iPad is running on the latest version of iOS 17.5, then you can easily sideload the watchOS 10.5 on your Watch.
- Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
- Tap General > Software Update.
- Select the Download and Install option on the new update.
- That’s it.
Make sure that your Apple Watch is charged at least 50% and connected to a WiFi network. After installing the beta profile, open the Apple Watch app on your phone, head over to General > Software Update > Download and Install, then install the new software. Now the watchOS 10.5 will download and transfer to your Apple Watch. After the completion of the installation process, your watch will restart. Once all done, you can start using your Apple Watch.
