The device is built with a glass front, aluminum back, and aluminum frame. The tablet features True-tone and Wide color gamut on the display while the size of the screen is 10.9 inches Liquid Retina IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It is protected by Scratch-resistant glass and oleophobic coating.
The dimension of the tablet is 247.6 x 178.5 x 6.1 mm and it weighs 461 g (Wi-Fi) / 462 g (5G). The resolution of the screen is 1640 x 2360 pixels and it has a density of 264 PPI.
It runs on iPadOS 15.3 and is powered by an Apple M1 octa-core processor. It is packed with 64 GB and 256 GB internal storage while the RAM is 8 GB. The main camera consists of 12 MP (wide) with HDR and on the front, there is a single standard camera of 12 MP (ultrawide).
The sensors include a fingerprint (top-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, compass, and barometer. The tablet is fueled with a Li-Ion (28.6 Wh) battery. It is available in various colors such as Space Gray, Starlight, Pink, Purple, and Blue.
