Windows 11 Preview Build 23541 fixes explorer.exe crash

Microsoft released Windows 11 version 22H2’s newest incremental dev beta at the end of last week. Windows 11 Preview build 23541, which includes numerous fixes, is now available in the Dev Channel. This is a weekly OS stability update.

Microsoft also introduced a new Canary Channel update yesterday. Usually, updates to the Dev and Canary channels occur simultaneously, but in this case, the Dev update was released a day after the Canary update.

Windows 11 version 23541’s Recommended section of the Start menu now features expanded thumbnail views of files stored in the cloud. Microsoft has issued a warning to Insiders on the Dev channel that the right-click share menu may be temporarily unavailable for these files.

This is the only alteration or enhancement in the most recent Dev version.

Microsoft also provides updates to all Windows Insider channels for Microsoft Store version 22308.1401.x.x or higher. For those interested in learning more about PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate, there is now a dedicated Game Pass page. Exclusive games, day-one games, deals, free perks, EA Play, and more will all be available to users.
