The incredibly popular messaging app WhatsApp is finally available on Wear OS. At this year’s Google I/O event, a beta version of WhatsApp for Wear OS was announced. After a long period of development, the final, stable version of WhatsApp for Wear OS 3 watches is now available.
At next week’s Samsung Unpacked event, among other things, the company will introduce its new Galaxy Watch series. The timing of the event is spot on, and so is the official WhatsApp announcement.
There are several options available in WhatsApp for Wear OS. The WhatsApp app for smartwatches allows you to start new conversations, respond to existing ones, respond swiftly to messages, send audio messages, utilize emoticons, and even answer and make calls from your wrist. These features are included in the initial stable version, and more are expected in subsequent upgrades.
