What to do to Speed up a Slow Laptop
Is your computer operating at a slower rate? This can cause a number of issues, such as being late for important meetings or not being able to complete your task on time.
Here are a few methods for improving your laptop's performance.
In Windows, go to the Control Panel, click Programs, and then Programs and Features. You'll get a list of all the programs that are installed on your computer. Examine the list and ask yourself: do I *really* need this program? If you answered no, click the Uninstall/Change option to remove it.
Uninstall Unwanted Programs
Several hidden programs may be running in the background of your computer, and this could be the root of your laptop's inefficiency.
Check background programs
The temporary cache memory on your laptop is cleared when you restart it, allowing it to start working again.
Restart your device
Startup apps that silently gather over time may reduce the efficiency of your laptop. Close any startup apps that you aren't using.
