Vivo has recently launched a revolutionary new inexpensive smartphone in India. The Vivo Y18t offers great specs at a low price point. It features the brightest display for less than Rs 10,000, so here’s all you should know about it.
Vivo Y18t: What makes it special?
The Vivo Y18t, revealed by the Chinese manufacturer, features a 6.56-inch LCD display with 840 nits of peak brightness, a 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, 2.5D glass, TUBU Rheinland Blue Light certification, and a water drop notch housing an 8-megapixel front camera. On the back, it has a 50-megapixel dual camera configuration. The smartphone is powered by the UNISOC T612 SoC, which is coupled with the Mali-G67 MP1 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.
Aside from the dazzling screen, the Vivo Y18t debuted in India with a sleek body featuring a gradient-like finish and flat edges. Even the camera lenses are enclosed by a gold-colored ring. It measures 8.3mm thick and weighs 185 grams. This device is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack and can enable 15W wired rapid charging.
Other significant features include 4G LTE connectivity, 2.5D glass, the Android 14 OS-based FunTouchOS 14 custom skin out of the box, Bluetooth 5.2, FM Radio, and the ability to extend storage via a dedicated MicroSD card slot. Vivo was launched in India for Rs 9,499 (about 113 US dollars). It comes in a single storage format but is available in two color variants. This offers Space Black and Gem Green color options.
