On May 31st, Vivo will debut the Vivo S17 series in China. Each model will be available at both a regular and a pro level. Last week, the latter was discovered on Geekbench. As of right now, the Vivo S17 can be seen on the testbed. The V2283A model number identifies the phone and provides access to its key features.

Vivo S17 Seen On Geekbench Prior To Release

Geekbench data reveals that the Vivo S17 is powered by a motherboard with the codename “lahana,” which has four cores running at 1.8GHz, three cores running at 2.4GHz, and a primary core running at 2.52GHz. This is equivalent to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor. According to the benchmarking service, the smartphone will have 12GB of RAM. We anticipate more variations upon release. The upcoming product ships with Google’s Android 13 operating system.

The Vivo S17 achieves single-core and multi-core Geekbench scores of 817 and 2,607, respectively. This is all the information that can be gleaned from the benchmarking database.

Vivo S17 Specs

The rumored Vivo S17 will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The primary sensor on the smartphone is expected to be 50 megapixels, and there will also be an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The upcoming product reportedly supports fast charging at 66W or 80W. A 50-megapixel front-facing camera with dual soft LEDs and a 2x portrait lens is also confirmed for the upcoming Vivo S17 Pro.
