A strange vivo gadget with the model name V2429A has surfaced on TENNA, including a 6,500mAh battery (rated capacity 6365mAh), which is far larger than those found in the X200 series devices. However, the listing covers more than simply the battery capacity. So let us take a look.

Vivo V2429A specifications:

The unknown device features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 2800×1260 (1.5K) resolution and 1073.74 million color depth. Although the model number is similar to the Vivo X Fold 4 (V2429), the listing does not mention a second display, indicating it is a bar phone.

Notably, the model number is rather similar to that of the vivo S19 (V2364A), which debuted in May of this year with a 6000mAh battery.

The Vivo V2429A is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.63 GHz.

The device’s measurements (160.35 x 74.18 x 7.19 mm) match those of the Vivo S19, which is 7.2 mm thick. Given this resemblance and the period of the Vivo S19’s launch, the V2429A is most likely the Vivo S20.

Despite having a larger battery, the phone weighs 185.5 grams, which is 6 grams less than the S19. This could be achieved with an upgraded silicon-carbon anode battery.

The phone has 8/12/16GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB/1TB of storage. It also supports 5G, infrared, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, an under-screen fingerprint reader, and face recognition.

The new model’s chipset is unknown, although its putative predecessor, the vivo S19, uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (4 nm) chipset. It gets more than 1,100 on Geekbench single-core tests and approximately 3,300 in multi-core testing. In the 3DMark Wild Life Performance test, it scores between 5,900 and 6,000 points.

The phone’s cameras include a 50MP+8MP dual configuration on the back and a 50MP selfie on the front.
