Samsung Galaxy S22 One UI 6 Beta available in UK

Samsung is hastening the One UI 6 beta testing on Android 14. The business recently released the One UI 6 beta to some older flagship phones, including the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series. However, as is customary, the beta was initially made available in South Korea.

The One UI 6 beta for the Galaxy S22 was published earlier this week and is now available in the United Kingdom. As of now, this is only for the Galaxy S22, although the Galaxy S21 may receive the beta in additional regions this week or next.

In the United Kingdom, the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra with firmware versions S901BXXU6ZWIA, S906BXXU6ZWIA, and S908BXXU6ZWIA are available. It is a significant beta, which means it is more than 2700MB. It is the same update that was issued in South Korea, but with a different build. This signifies that the upgrade includes an Android security patch for September 2023.

There are numerous reasons to be thrilled about the new One UI 6 beta, including significant upgrades and a slew of new features. One of the most noticeable changes in One UI 6 is the new Quick Settings layout, which is followed by features such as new emojis, a redesigned media playback UI on the lock screen and homescreen, the ability to adjust the location of the clock on the lock screen, and many more.

If you own a Galaxy S22 series phone and live in the United Kingdom, you may now select for the beta upgrade to test One UI 6 early. Before you decide to install One UI 6 beta, make a backup of your phone.
