As One UI 6.0 is a big software update, it will include improved software design, greater customizing options, improved performance, and other new features. Currently, the Korean tech behemoth is expanding its beta program for its Galaxy handsets. Meanwhile, Samsung has published the current October 2023 security update for Galaxy smartphones.
According to the release notes, the October 2023 security patch for Galaxy devices addresses two major CVEs and 32 high-level CVEs to strengthen their security. Along with Google patches, the Korean tech company offers 12 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items to improve user experience.
In contrast, Samsung has made significant changes in terms of device life cycle completion and major update availability. Official software support for four Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Tab S6 4G, Galaxy A90 5G, Galaxy M10s, and Galaxy M30s, will be discontinued, according to the report.
Notably, the Samsung October 2023 security update will be rolled out to a variety of Galaxy devices throughout the month. First, the company’s flagship Galaxy handsets can be updated with the latest security updates, followed by mid-range and inexpensive devices.

Additionally, the Korean tech giant has started rolling out the October 2023 security update for the fifth-generation floatable Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, and it is now available for multiple Galaxy smartphones.
