Redmi Note 13 4G Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update is out

The latest phone to start getting the much-anticipated Android 15 upgrade is the Redmi Note 13 with a stable HyperOS 2. It is a global release but limited to Mi Pilot members for preview.

The smartphone is fueled by a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + 33W wired. The phone runs on Android 13 + MIUI 14 operating system. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 685 Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 610.

The device comes in 6.67 inches size and the display is AMOLED and provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is packed with 6 GB, 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB, 256 GB internal storage. The rear camera features a triple camera: 108 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) while on the front, there is a single camera: 16 MP (wide).

The device is equipped with sensors such as side-mounted fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, and compass. Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G is available in various colors including Midnight Black, Mint Green, Ice Blue, and Ocean Sunset. It supports IP54, dust and splash resistant alongside Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

The update is rolling out in batches, meaning it will take some time before it arrives for everyone. Nevertheless, you can check the updater app and remember to back up your files before installing the update, as it’s the first cross-section Android 15 build.

Some system apps are yet to adapt, which might cause glitches and overheating.
