Xiaomi has released the Redmi Buds 6 in India, along with the Redmi Note 14 5G. True wireless earphones with outstanding specs, aimed at budget-conscious audiophiles.
Redmi Buds 6 features
The centerpiece is the dual-driver system, which includes a 12.4mm titanium diaphragm driver for powerful bass and a 5.5mm micro-piezoelectric ceramic unit for precise highs. This combination, together with active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 49dB, provides an immersive listening experience. The earbuds also have a transparency mode with three settings: regular, enhanced voice, and ambient sound.
Connectivity options are abundant. The Redmi Buds 6 enable multi-device connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4 for low latency, and HyperOS for smooth pairing with Xiaomi phones. The earbuds even include a remote shutter button for camera control.
Another plus is the long-lasting battery. With ANC turned off, customers may expect up to 10 hours of use from the earphones and an extra 32 hours from the case. With ANC enabled, playtime is reduced to 6.5 hours per charge, but the case still gives an impressive 19.5 hours. Fast charging provides 4 hours of playing from a 10-minute charge.
The Redmi Buds 6 have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, making them excellent for exercise. It also includes AI-powered environmental noise cancellation, ensuring clear calls even in windy circumstances.
