Realme C25s and Narzo 50A Gets Android 13/Realme UI 4.0 Update

After its Beta programme, Realme C25s and Narzo 50A users in India are getting the stable Android 13-based Realme update. This update adds new Aquamorphic Design and seamless experience to respective devices.

To ensure stability, the Chinese tech giant is phasing out Realme UI 4.0. This update was randomly released to 15% of users and will be rolled out to the rest by the end of May if there are no critical bugs.

Users should also update their Realme C25s and Narzo 50A devices to the following baseline version to experience Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13:

  • Realme C25s: RMX3197_11_C.16 | RMX3197_11_C.17
  • Realme Narzo 50A: RMX3430_11_C.16 | RMX3430_11_C.17

The Realme C25s and Narzo 50A smartphone users can identify this Realme UI 4.0 update with build numbers RMX3197_11_F.16 and RMX3430_11_F.16, respectively. This new update carries a bunch of new features and enhancements to the Aquamorphic Design, System Efficiency, Seamless interconnection, Security & Privacy, Health & Digital well-being, and more.

The wait is finally over, Realme C25s and Narzo 50A owners can upgrade their phones to Android 13 by navigating to Settings > Software Update > check for the new updates if there is a new update available then install it on your device. You will receive the upgrade with F.16 version number.

  • Aquamorphic Design
    • Adds Aquamorphic Design theme colors for enhanced visual comfort.
    • Adds Shadow-Reflective Clock, with shadows to simulate the orientation of the sun and moon.
    • Adds a Home screen world clock widget to show the time in different time zones.
    • Optimizes the widget design to make information easier and quicker to find.
    • Optimises fonts for better readability.
    • Optimises system icons by using the latest color scheme to make the icons easier to recognize.
    • Enriches and optimizes illustrations for features by incorporating multicultural and inclusive elements.
  • Efficiency
    • Adds large folders to the Home screen. You can now open an app in an enlarged folder with just one tap and turn pages in the folder with a swipe.
    • Adds media playback control and optimizes the Quick Settings experience.
    • Adds more markup tools for screenshot editing.
    • Adds support for adding widgets to the Home screen, making information display more personalized.
    • Upgrades Doodle in Notes. You can now draw on graphics to take notes more efficiently.
    • Optimizes Shelf. Swiping down on the Home screen will bring up Shelf by default. You can search content online and on your device.
  • Security & Privacy
    • Adds regular clearing of clipboard data for privacy protection.
    • Optimizes Private Safe. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is used to encrypt all files for enhanced security of private files.
  • Health & Digital Wellbeing
    • Adds Eye comfort in Kid Space to protect children’s vision.

How To Update

  • Go to the phone’s Settings.
  • Scroll down and tap on the About Device section
  • After tapping on the Realme UI version option,
  • Wait for the latest available update to appear on your screen;
  • Click on the download button to start the process.
