OxygenOS is now available for the OnePlus Nord (OnePlus 8T also receives an update)

Following the OnePlus 8 series upgrade, the OnePlus Nord and OnePlus 8T are now receiving an incremental upgrade. The OnePlus 8T is a flagship phone with top-notch features, whereas the Nord is a cheap phone with a fair pricing. Both phones have been receiving open beta upgrades for weeks and are finally receiving a stable incremental upgrade. For the OnePlus Nord, OxygenOS is installed, while for the OnePlus 8T, OxygenOS is installed.

The Open Beta and eventually the stable version are part of OnePlus’s transparent update procedure. Between open beta and stable updates, there may be variances in features and update order. Users will eventually receive all of the features as a result of incremental updates.

OnePlus upgrades are usually rolled out in phases, so some customers will receive the update first, while others may have to wait a few days longer. The OTA update will be accessible through notification on your phone. However, even when an update is available, we don’t always receive alerts. In such case, go to Settings > System > System Updates and manually check for the update. It will look for the newest update and show it to you. To begin the procedure, click Download & Install.

If you don’t see the update under System updates but want to upgrade right away, follow the steps below.
