Oppo Reno 7 gets stable Android 13 update in Europe

Oppo began the Android 13 rollout for the Reno 7 last month by releasing the update in Indonesia. The over-the-air update is now being distributed in a few European countries. If you own the Reno 7, you can now upgrade your phone to the new Android 13-based ColorOS 13 software version, which comes with a long list of changes and features.

According to Reddit Users, Oppo has not officially confirmed the rollout for European countries; however, some Reno 7 owners are said to have received the new upgrade in Italy, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, and other countries.

The new software includes the C.32 version number. It is a significant software upgrade for the Reno 7, and it requires a large amount of data to download; this particular build is 4.49GB in size, so make sure you have enough data and storage space on your device.

Oppo is pushing the ColorOS 13-based Android 13 upgrade to the Reno 7 with a stack of new features including the new Aquamorphic design elements, new color palettes, font, updated Settings UI, fluid Aquamorphic effects in system apps, smoother animations, updated icons, new series of AOD animations, a set of new wallpapers, new widgets, Android 13 privacy features, and more.

You can check the new software updates by navigating to the Settings app and then System updates. If the update is not available on your device yet, you can wait for a few days, as it is currently in a rolling phase, wider rollout should follow soon.

Before downloading the update, make sure that your phone is charged at least 50%. Also, take a backup of important data before installing the new firmware.

Oppo Reno 7 Specs

Oppo Reno 7 is officially announced on March 29, 2022. The smartphone is integrated with a big screen with 6.43 inches AMOLED display while the screen density is 409 PPI. The resolution of the screen is 1080 x 2400 pixels and it is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The smartphone supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) and IPX4 water resistance. It runs on the Android 11 + ColorOS 12.1 operating system. It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 4500 mAh battery + Fast charging 33W + Reverses charging.

The smartphone features a triple camera on the rear side 64 MP (wide) + 2 MP (microscope) + 2 MP (depth). On the front, there is a single camera of 32 MP (wide). The phone is packed with 8 GB RAM with 256 GB of internal storage.

Oppo Reno 7 includes sensors such as Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. It is powered by Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G Octa-core and the GPU is Adreno 610.
