The Chinese smartphone maker, Oppo has recently released the stable ColorOS 15 update for the Reno 11 Pro 5G. Today, the company has expanded the Android 15 based ColorOS 15 update to the vanilla Oppo Reno 11. The update boasts a bunch of new useful features and changes.
Oppo Reno 11 Specs
Oppo Reno 11 5G has been officially released on Jan. 25, 2024. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1080 x 2412 pixels resolution and 394 PPI screen density. The sensors include an optical under-display fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. It comes with 8 GB, 12 GB RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB internal storage options.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 Octa-core processor while the GPU is Mali-G68 MC4. The smartphone comes with a rear triple-camera setup with a 50 MP (wide) + 32 MP (telephoto) + 8 MP (ultrawide). On the front, there is a single camera of 32 MP (wide) for your selfies.
Oppo Reno 11 5G is fueled by a Li-Po 5000 mAh + 67W wired, PD, QC3, 100% in 45 min (advertised) + Reverse wired. It runs on the Android 14 + ColorOS 14.0 operating system and supports Dual SIM. The dimension of the smartphone is 162.4 x 74.3 x 7.9 mm and it weighs 182 grams.
Oppo Reno 11 ColorOS 15 (Android 15) update in India
Oppo has started a build equivalent to Apple’s release candidate which let users get official version before the wider rollout. If you want to try out the new ColorOS 15 skin features on your Reno 11 smartphone, make sure your phone is running on one of these builds:

- CPH2599_14.0.0.703(EX01)
- CPH2599_14.0.0.705(EX01)
If your phone is on the older build, update it to the newest version.
ColorOS 15 is a major software upgrade so make sure your phone has enough space for installation. The update is rolling out in a staged manner and will be available to everyone very soon. But you can apply for the update to get it immediately.

Once done, you will receive the update, go back and select Detect the update option > Download now. That’s it. Make sure to take a backup before installing the update on your device.
