The company is already testing the new skin on Oppo F27 and K12x in India. Today, they have announced the ColorOS 15 closed beta program for Oppo Reno 11. The phone is scheduled to receive a stable update next month.
If you own the Oppo Reno 11, you can join the closed beta program to try out the ColorOS 15 features. As always, Oppo has officially shared the beta program details with only 2,000 seats. Please note that applications will be accepted from November 14 to November 17.
As per the details, your smartphone should run on any of these builds:
- CPH2599_14.0.0.701(EX01)
- CPH2599_14.0.0.702(EX01)
- CPH2599_14.0.0.703(EX01)
If your phone is on the older software, you need to update it to the latest build to take a part in the beta program.
Android 15 based ColorOS 15 skin brings a flurry of new features including new animations, app icons, themes, lock screen customization, AI features, and more.
If you want to join the beta program, you can navigate to Go to Settings > About Device > Tap the top of the page > Tap the icon in the top right corner > Select Trial version > Alpha and follow the steps to apply. Once done, you will receive a message to join official ColorOS group on telegram.
Additionally, your application will be reviewed in 5 days. If your application got selected you will receive the ColorOS 15 beta via a special OTA update.
Keep in mind that you may encounter with some bugs or issues after installing the open beta, I recommend you not install the update on your primary device, if you still want to try it out, then make sure to take a backup of important data.
Oppo Reno 11 5G has been officially released on Jan. 25, 2024. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1080 x 2412 pixels resolution and 394 PPI screen density. Oppo Reno 11 5G is fueled by a Li-Po 5000 mAh + 67W wired, PD, QC3, 100% in 45 min (advertised) + Reverse wired. It runs on the Android 14 + ColorOS 14.0 operating system and supports Dual SIM. The dimension of the smartphone is 162.4 x 74.3 x 7.9 mm and it weighs 182 grams.
