Oppo has released a new teaser for the Reno 10 series of smartphones. The latest teaser confirms a few details, including the presence of a camera in the base model. Let’s check it out.
The triple camera system on the new Oppo Reno 10 series phones will include a telephoto lens.
Oppo Reno 10 Camera Lens
The Chinese tech giant has confirmed that the base Reno 10 model, like the more expensive Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ variants, will include a triple camera setup. It has been confirmed that the primary sensor in the rear module is 64 megapixels and that one of the secondary cameras has a telephoto lens. Notably, the 47mm focal length telephoto lens that the brand had previously teased was confirmed for the entire series.
In case you missed it, there’s a sizable camera island in the back that looks like a pill. However, specifics about the other sensors were not disclosed by the company. That is to say, specifics regarding the resolution of the ultra-wide-angle camera and the optical zoom lens remain unknown. Previous rumors have suggested that the Oppo Reno 10 will have a primary 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor, along with an ultra-wide angle 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 lens and a telephoto 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 lens for 2x optical zoom.
Oppo Reno 10 Pro Camera Lens
The ultra-wide angle and telephoto shooters on the Reno 10 Pro will be 8 and 32 megapixels, respectively, just like on the Reno 10. Meanwhile, the Reno 10 Pro+ version will feature a more advanced periscope lens with 64 megapixels. It is anticipated that the primary sensor will be a Sony IMX890 with 50 megapixels and optical image stabilization. Stay tuned for more as we will be covering Oppo’s launch event for the Reno 10 series later this week, which will take place on May 24.
