OPPO Find X2 Series is getting ColorOS 13 update [ Android 13]

After completing the beta program, OPPO has begun rolling out the official Android 13-based ColorOS 13 update for Find X2 series smartphone users. The software is currently available in India and Indonesia. However, it is expected to reach a larger number of customers in the future.

The ColorOS 13 software update for Android 13 adds several new features to your smartphone. Furthermore, it improves animations, adds new app icons, and adds advanced customization options, among other things.

 

According to the OPPO community blog, the ColorOS 13 firmware update for the Find X2 series units in India and Indonesia includes the ColorOS build ending H.48 software version. You must first apply for inclusion in the official version of Android 13 before you can access the system settings.

Meanwhile, in order to successfully install this Android 13-based ColorOS 13 software update on your Find X2 series smartphone, ensure that your device is running the ColorOS 12 base version F.24.

How To Apply :

First, Go to the Device’s Settings, then Scroll down and click on About Device, and tap on the Official Version. From here, click on the Settings icon, then click on Beta Program, Try Official Fill in the information, and tap on Apply.

Notably, this update comes within three days after applying. To check for this update, click on Check for Updates. If available, then hit on the Download tab.

Oppo Find X2 Summary

Oppo Find X2 mobile was launched on 6th March 2020. The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1440×3168 pixels. The display sports Gorilla Glass for protection. Oppo Find X2 is powered by a 2.84GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. It comes with 12GB of RAM. The Oppo Find X2 runs Android 10 and is powered by a 4200mAh non-removable battery. The Oppo Find X2 supports Super VOOC fast charging.

The Oppo Find X2 on the rear packs a 48-megapixel (f/1.7) primary camera; a 12-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, and a 13-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.4 aperture.

The Oppo Find X2 runs ColorOS 7.1 is based on Android 10 and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The Oppo Find X2 measures 164.90 x 74.50 x 8.00mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 187.00 grams. It was launched in Black and Ocean colors.

Connectivity options on the Oppo Find X2 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, temperature sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The Oppo Find X2 supports face unlock.
