OnePlus has started pushing the latest OTA update to its wearable, the OnePlus Watch 2, which introduces plenty of new features and functionalities.
OnePlus Watch 2 Specs
OnePlus Watch 2 was officially announced on Feb. 26, 2024. The device is built with a sapphire crystal front, stainless steel frame, and plastic back. It features IP68 dust/water resistance (up to 1.5m for 30 mins) + is MIL-STD-810H compliant + Waterproof (5ATM) + Compatible with standard 22mm straps while the dimension of the device is 47 x 46.6 x 12.1 mm and weighs 49 grams.
The watch comes with 1.43 inches AMOLED that provides 466 x 466 pixels and the PPI density is 326. The display is protected by sapphire crystal glass. It is fueled with a Li-Ion 500 mAh battery + 7.5W wired. It is integrated with sensors such as accelerometer, gyro, barometer, compass, heart rate, and SpO2.
OnePlus Watch 2 is available in two colors: Black Steel and radiant Steel. It features Email and IM options. The device features Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS (L1+L5), GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and QZSS, which is packed with 32 GB internal storage. It runs on an Android Wear OS 4 operating system.

The OnePlus Watch 2 has started receiving the latest update, which comes with the OPWWE231_11_A.94 official build version, along with several upgrades within the OHealth app, which comes with the Version 4.22 build version.

As per the official changelog listed below, the latest update to the OnePlus Watch 2 introduces numerous noticeable features and upgrades, including the optimization of data display during workout sessions for much better insights, added support to access the music controller by swiping left during workout, a Relax and Barometer apps have been added, and addition of new features within the Phone app in the Power Saver mode such as displaying contacts, favouriting contacts and displaying call logs.
In addition, this new update further supports disabling Tap to Wake while also enhancing the overall experience of removing a watch face. It also includes several workout and health algorithm optimizations that provide users with more enhanced yet convenient workout sessions.

On the flip side, the new update brings several upgrades to the OHealth app, which has also arrived with a 4.22 official build version, further introducing some brand new features and much more enhanced functionalities.
These include several upgrades to the functionality and experience of the Fitness tab while also adding numerous data statistics for deeper insights and detailed analysis of the workout sessions and more enhanced user experience with a new UI for the OnePlus Open customers.
In addition, the latest update further optimizes the visual experience and fluency within the OHealth app. Moreover, it added the flexibility to directly remove a watch face from the entire collection either on the OHealth app or on your watch. The tap-to-wake feature could be disabled now, preventing some accidental wakes, along with a much refreshed UI.
