With Oxygen OS 15, OnePlus added a slew of AI functions to its devices. With the recent update, the business has also pushed Circle to explore additional device features.
Circle to Search is live for OxygenOS 15 devices
OnePlus has already installed OxygenOS 15 on its devices, including the OnePlus 12, 12R, and Pad 2. The vendor has not mentioned which devices are compatible with Oxygen OS 15. Now, the company is spreading the functionality from the server side.
Circle to search: What’s new
Google’s AI tool, Circle to Search, allows users to search for any thing on their screen directly to the internet. In other words, if you see something on her screen that you don’t recognize, you can search the internet by simply doing the circle gesture on the object.
There are two options for activating the search circle on any screen: First, you can press the Home button. In addition, you can access it by long pressing the menu bar.
OnePlus has worked hard to add new features to the OxygenOS 15 skin, which is based on Android 15. OnePlus has already delivered updates for the OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, and OnePlus Pad 2, and is currently testing for the OnePlus Nord CE 4, CE 4 Lite, and OnePlus 11R.
The firm revealed today that the much-anticipated Circle to Search functionality will be available on more OnePlus phones with the OxygenOS 15 upgrade. OnePlus has publicly announced this on its community forum. However, the company has not revealed which smartphones would gain this capability.
The feature is already present on OnePlus 12. We may expect the feature to be rolled out to additional phones running OxygenOS 15. Circle to Search is a function that allows you to easily search for anything on your smartphone, regardless of the screen you are currently on. This software is a more advanced version of the previous Google Lens app.
If your OnePlus phone or tablet is running OxygenOS 15, you may toggle the feature on or off by going to Settings > System updates > System navigation > Circle to Search. Here’s how to use the Circle to Search feature on your device.
- In 3-button navigation mode: Long press the Home button.
- In Gesture navigation mode: Long press the navigation bar.
Using the feature is simple, all you have to do is invoke Circle to Search and then circle, scribble, or select the object.
If the feature isn’t yet available on your OnePlus phone, you need to wait a little longer to get access to Circle to Search.
