OnePlus released an update for the OnePlus Open, which includes many new improvements. This update is also available only for the Indian variant and can solve the annoying issues with the security patch. Also, some changes have been included in the camera as well.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm SM8550-AC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor + Adreno 740 GPU. The device runs on Android 14 operating system. The device is packed with 16 GB RAM with 1 TB internal storage. OnePlus Open comes with a triple-camera setup: 48 MP (wide) + 64 MP (telephoto) + 48 MP (ultrawide) while on the front, there is a single camera.
The size of the display is 7.8 inches Foldable OLED while the screen resolution is 1900 x 2160 pixels and it also supports Nano-SIM and eSIM or Dual SIM (2 Nano-SIMs and eSIM, dual stand-by). It is fueled with Li-Po battery. The sensors include side-mounted fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer + Ultra Wideband (UWB) support.

This update policy adds a switch to show/hide media playback information in the policy status bar. After fixing the previous issue, this update improves the user experience of scrolling screenshots in the system. When the user takes scrolling screenshots, notifications and live alert messages will not pop up, and the floating window will not be displayed.
