OnePlus Nord 3 received OxygenOS 14.0.0.510 update

OnePlus Nord 3 India, Europe, and global users have started receiving the new OxygenOS 14.0.0.510 update, which introduces several features designed to improve the user experience.

Oneplus Nord 3 has been officially announced on July 11, 2023. The smartphone comes with a 6.74 inches Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which provides a resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels.

The display is protected by Dragontrail Glass. The device is powered by Mediatek MT6983 Dimensity 9000 processor and Mali-G710 MC10. The device is fueled with a 5000 mAh battery + 80W wired, 1-60% in 15 min, 1-100% in 32 min (advertised).

It features a triple-camera setup: On the rear side, there is 50 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (depth) while on the front, there is a 16 MP (wide) camera. The camera also features LED flash, HDR, panorama while on the front, there is a Auto HDR. The sensors include under display, optical fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

It features Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and QZSS. Oneplus Nord 3 runs on the Android 13 + OxygenOS 13.1 operating system and it is pack with 8 GB, 16 GB RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB internal storage. It is built with Glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), glass back (Gorilla Glass 5), and plastic frame. It supports IP54, dust and splash resistant.

This update is all about adding features that make the user experience more smooth and convenient and also comes with April 2024 security patch . The first feature added is the new “Partial screenshot” option in the Smart Sidebar, allowing users to capture specific areas of their screen. Additionally, the Photos app now supports creating collages without frames, offering more flexibility in image editing.

OnePlus has also added support for adjusting the volume for individual apps right from the volume bar. The update also enables a shortcut to activate the flashlight by holding the volume down button when the screen is off.

A fuzzy search option has been added to the Home screen search bar in Drawer mode, which allows users to start searches by typing just the first letter of an app’s name.

How to update OnePlus Nord 3

Initially, the update is being rolled out to a limited number of devices, with a broader release expected soon. If you haven’t received the OTA update notification on your device, you can manually check for it by going to Settings, then About Device, then OxygenOS, and finally tapping on Check for Update.

For users in India experiencing issues after the update, bug reports can be submitted through the Google Dialer by dialing *#800#.
