The Pixel devices have already received a stable version of Android 14. Premium OnePlus devices released after the OnePlus 8 series, on the other hand, are eligible for three major OS upgrades. Select flagships, beginning in 2023, will also be eligible for four generations of Android upgrades and five years of security fixes.
As we all know, the OxygenOS team is already hard at work to match users’ expectations by combining the quick and smooth experiences of OxygenOS 14 and Android 14. OxygenOS 14 is now available for the OnePlus 11, OnePlus Nord 3, OnePlus 11R, OnePlus 10 Pro, and OnePlus 9 series, and the company has stated that it will soon be available for more qualified OnePlus devices.
Major firmware updates are no longer available for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 8 series flagship smartphones. This is due to brands changing their software features, which are frequently incompatible with the device mechanism.
