OnePlus 8T Gets October 2024 Update with New Improvements

OnePlus has released the October 2024 software update for the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 8T, introducing upgrades, new features, and security changes. To deliver a fantastic user experience, the update contains bug fixes, system optimizations, performance, and functional changes to the user interface.

OnePlus 8T mobile was launched on 14th October 2020. The phone comes with a 6.55-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels at a pixel density of 402 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It comes with 12GB of RAM. The OnePlus 8T runs Android 11 and is powered by a 4500mAh non-removable battery. The OnePlus 8T supports proprietary fast charging.

The phone runs Oxygen OS 11 is based on Android 11 and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The OnePlus 8T is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The OnePlus 8T measures 160.70 x 74.10 x 8.40mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 188.00 grams. It was launched in Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver colours.

Connectivity options on the OnePlus 8T include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G, and 5G. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The OnePlus 8T supports face unlock.
