OnePlus 8/8 Pro Gets OxygenOS 13.1 Update With Great Features

The significant OxygenOS 13.1 software update for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is currently being rolled out to additional regions. This update, which initially launched in India, is now being rolled out across Europe. It brings several new features, such as TalkBack, Zen Space, Simple Mode, a new Championship Mode, and music playback controls for Game Assistant. The following revision numbers correspond to this update:

  • OnePlus 8: IN2013_13.1.0.513(EX01)
  • OnePlus 8 Pro: IN2023_13.1.0.513(EX01)

According to the details, the OnePlus 8 is getting the new firmware with the IN2011_13.1.0.513(EX01) version. Whereas, OnePlus 8 Pro users can identify the update with the IN2021_13.1.0.513(EX01) build number.

Currently, the firmware is rolling out in batches in India. Hence the process may take time. Still, you can drive to Settings > About device > OxygenOS version to install the firmware manually.

The OxygenOS 13.1 changelog lists many new features and improvements that should improve the device. This firmware offers gaming, health, personalization, and more. Technical issues prevent this update from adding auto-connect.

The update also adds TalkBack, which announces app and photo images. The new Zen Space app with Deep Zen and Light Zen modes helps you focus on the present.
